What inspired me to start a blog?  Only recently using a bike for my transportation, I have much to learn and while looking for information on quality commuting bicycles, I found the blog called Lovely Bicycle! It is truly a lovely blog, interesting and visually gorgeous (the author has many talents, including photography) and is is highly recommended for any one who would like to learn more about bicycling from an esthetic yet useful perspective. Check it out here:  http://lovelybike.blogspot.com/ Here is the lovely Velouria, author of Lovely Bicycle! on one of her classic bikes:

Freedom Park

I am fortunate to live near the Freedom Park Path. The multi-use path allows for smooth off road travel from Candler Park to down town Atlanta.  More pictures to follow since I frequently use this path.  The history and a map of the path can be found here:  http://www.atlantadowntown.com/go/freedom-park
