Privacy Policy and new paintings. I need to have a privacy policy for my facebook page. I am putting it here, as at this time I cannot afford to have a privacy policy created for me by a commercial company. I only take orders via private message on Facebook or Direct message on Instagram, or through my Etsy shop page. I will never use your information for any reason other than to contact you about the art you have ordered and to mail you your painting. I do not sale nor give your information to anyone. I do not share images of your painting without your permission. If you have any questions, please ask me. Recent paintings I have created:

Art Struggles. A few pieces I am working on. One is a portrait for the husband of the person that I recently completed a portrait for. I am attempting to paint a background that includes the Bridal Falls at Yosemite because one of the photos she sent me of him was at this location, but it was a photo of him at a much younger age. The portrait portion is from a more recent photo. I'm also adding in a Northern Goshawk, which is one of the birds known to be seen in this area, and I enjoy adding birds and other wildlife to represent the spirit of the individual (I think that is what I am doing?). The other paintings are ones in progress. I ruined the eye in one painting and have applied some watercolor ground to see if I can save the painting, which is almost completed, except for the field next to the figure.

Well, I have broken my promise, as far as posting, but hey as well no one has been viewing this blog. Still having problems connecting this blog to Pinterest - i've been trying for years, lol. OH well. Let me post a few things I have worked on since I last posted here (there is actually, a lot more than this! The last one, the baby white rhino is something I did today. It really needs to be re done, but I think it is still cute.
there is still potential

Several things i'm working on. I admit that i often get to a point that is difficult or less fun to paint and i start something new. This would be ok, due to the nature of watercolor and needing drying times except if i wait to long i have too hard of a time going back. So today i think i will get some of these prioritized. Also I have my video camera set up so i may start trying to video tape my process! Ill be back later today. Until then here are more of my unfinished pieces~

2nd post for 1/20/20, well actually it is 1:14 am on 1/21/20. Here are a couple of other pieces I completed today. The first one has elements traced from an old storybook illustration. I believe I have it copied somewhere, but can't find the original yet today. The girl, butterflies, and mushrooms are from the original. The path, cave entrance, and color is all my doing. I used metallic paint in this one, and I really don't like the results, but it is something I have so I try it out from time to time. The next painting is just a copy of a portrait from a photographer on Instagram. I am practicing shadows here. The sun and coloring was different in the original photograph, obviously. I've worked on a few other things but these are the only ones I have scanned in. I hope you enjoy them. I like to think that unconsciously they relate to my life. I hope that in the first one, she is about to give up but is soon to find out that a wonderful magical worl

Oops. So far I have failed in my daily posting plans here. It is now a new year, today is January 20, 2020! Martin Luther King day. So I am setting my intentions again, to post here most days, so that I have a more accurate record of my process and progress. I have been working on so many things, and while I post a few finished pieces on Instagram and fewer on Facebook, my plan is to post whatever I have worked on during the day here. So this is my intention. I will start today by showing a piece that I started yesterday, using a new (for me) product called MOLOTOW , Grafx art masking liquid. While I am using it exactly as instructed, so far I am having trouble removing the masking fluid from my painting. I used the masking fluid in the eyes, lips, nose of the face in the painting and several places on a bird and butterfly. Here are the results so far! (I love how the light from the window accidentally shows as coming from her eye. Now if I can just get the m
